Warming the resin

The resin is the thicker of the two components and it MUST be warmed up in a sink of warm or hot water prior to mixing. This will allow the epoxy to blend more easily during mixing but it will also reduce the amount of time the product can stay in the container. You will need to pour it on your surface immediately after mixing. NEVER put the hardener in warm or hot water, only the Resin, otherwise you will ruin the batch of epoxy as it will immediately react causing it to get hot in the bucket and even start to smoke.
