The Mixing Container is Hot and Hardening very quickly, what Happened?

You either waited too long to pour the epoxy or the resin was put into the container before the hardener. If you wait too long to pour the epoxy the chemical reaction is taking place inside of the bucket and there is no place for the heat to escape.
