Is it Possible to Pour a Thin Coat on top?

You cannot pour a thinner coat than the 1/8" flood coat. The only way to have a thin coat would be to do just a painted on seal coat. After finishing the seal coat you would need to use a blowtorch real quickly over the surface to help get rid of brushstrokes. However, this does not guarantee the same protection as the flood coat.
