Do I have to glue all items down?

If you can glue your items down first that would be best. If you do not wish to use glue, you can do a thicker seal coat of the epoxy and place your items into the seal coat. Once everything is in your seal coat, you will want to wait 24 hours for the epoxy to dry and have a firm hold on the items. After the 24 hours you can begin with the flood coat step.
